Musicians ages 11-16 were grouped into bands and learned to 'write, rehearse, record and perform' Rock and Roll music. This was our 4th summer in Carrboro/Chapel Hill and the concerts really capped an exciting year. In the past, students have performed at the Cat's Cradle, the Carrboro Music Festival, the Century Center, Tyler's Backstage, and the Reservior and have recorded at Nightsound Studios and Track and Field Studios. This Spring, we hope to release a double album of 24 songs that were all 'written, rehearsed, recorded and performed' by students at Rock and Roll High School.
